Hello everyone!


 
I ‘am very excited about this subject. Using the blog is something new for me but I think we will all benefit from it. I personally think that it will help us interact with each other. We will improve our writing skills. We will have fun sharing opinions and reading interesting information’s .


The last lecture we had was very interesting and informative. We discussed about the theory of multiple intelligences that was proposed by the psychologist Howard Gardner in 1983. What I found very interesting was the fact that according to Gardner we possess all the intelligences, but we are particularly strong in some of them.  I used to think like the traditional theory that we are born with a fixed amount of intelligences and that we don’t possess all of them and that we can’t improve them during our life. After reading about the theory of Gardner I couldn’t agree more with his theory.


I found a very interesting video that explains all the multiple intelligences.  Enjoy!  






During our lecture we talked about using multimedia in teaching and learning. Using multimedia in classroom gives the students chances for interacting with different texts or even with each-other. Students can express their opinions and they can enjoy even more the class. Since students use technology in everyday life, why not benefit from it and use it for a good purpose. Involving technology in the classroom also improves the quality of teaching.

    Ilustration helps us memorize better these types of intelligences , what we should do is to implement them during our classes. Nice post :)))

Hello everyone! Can't belive this is the last post! It has been an amazing experience sharing our thoughts  with each-other. It was the first time doing it and im very happy we did it. Preparing for the final project

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing fine. My final project is coming very soon and I am nervous and very excited about it. I am preparing about it and its been a very busy week because I am thinking about the best way to present it. This whole process has been very interesting. I would like to mention that the drop box assignments and the diary have helped me a lot. It has helped me by taking things step by step and its easier this way. Whenever I find an interesting information or an activity, I write it down there and later I will check on it. Without the diary I think it would have been difficult because I might have an idea now and if I don't write it, I might forget it later.  So far, I am very happy with the final project I really like this project and I can’t wait to present it. This whole process has helped me improve myself and see my self as a real teacher. I catch myself thinking about it everyday. Aim constantly thinking how to improve the teaching...

PBL-Project Based Learning

Hello everyone! I personally think that this approach is one of the best ones, because it’s very useful. Through this model students are more active, and they learn more about the subject or real-life problems and challenges. I have personally experienced PBL a lot during my school years. In almost every subject I have done, teachers have required to do a project based on the subject. So, in the end of every subject we had to do a project based on a specific topic. I have to say that its very helpful. It helps students to interact with each-other. It makes students be more interested in that subject. Students also enjoy presenting them. When students are asked to do a project based on the subject, they are aware of the responsibility they have, and they research on their own about the subject or topic and this makes them acquire even more knowledge and they become active learners.
